Project overview and objectives
To provide the best care for its patients, the Ambulance Service of NSW will roll out an Ambulance Electronic Medical Record system, upgrade its current network to support eLearning for paramedics, install electronic drug safe monitoring systems, implement an on-line staff rostering system, upgrade telehealth systems, and implement remote station secure access systems.
The initiatives of this project will deliver improved access to quality health care to communities across the state and will lead to the retention and better training of essential medical emergency staff in those communities.
