Domain names

A domain name (or web address) is the means of identifying and locating an organisation or other entity on the Internet. Domain names, like telephone numbers, are a scarce resource and need to be managed to warrant the efficient allocation of web addresses.

The Australian Government has observer status on the auDA Board.
