Achieving value booklet
This is the raw dataset from the survey of ICT use in organisations that formed the basis of the Achieving Value report. The dataset is freely available for fair use by researchers provided the results of any further analysis are shared with DCITA.
This report was prepared for the Department by Opticon Australia and the Australian National University. The report examines the circumstances and settings in which ICT is used by Australian organisations and the management strategies and organisational forms that accompany effective implementation.
Government's response to the recommendations of the Australian Communications Authority’s Priority Assistance Review
The report summarises the submissions received by DCITA in relation to two discussion papers released in February 2005: The role of ICT in building social capital and communities and ICT transforming the nonprofit sector. Thirty-five submissions were received from nonprofit organisations, government departments, individuals and private enterprises. The submissions raised a broad range of social, technical and economic barriers to increased use of ICT in the community and nonprofit sector as well as providing further evidence to support continued work in increasing the uptake and use of ICT.
