Applications for CCIF funding have now closed. It is not expected that any further funding rounds will be held.

The Australian Government has allocated $23.7 million to the Coordinated Communications Infrastructure Fund (CCIF) to fund broadband infrastructure projects that improve the delivery of health, education and government services in regional communities.

The CCIF supports projects that establish new network infrastructure or enhance the capabilities of existing network infrastructure.

CCIF Round 1

On 20 April 2004 the then Minister for Communications, Information Technology and the Arts announced seven projects would receive funding from the first CCIF round. For more information on these seven projects see the media release.

CCIF Round 2

The Minister for Communications, Information Technology and the Arts on 6 April 2005 announced that six projects would receive funding from the second and final CCIF round. For more information on these projects see the media release.
