Print this pageThe Telecommunications Research Grants program provides grants under s.593 of the Telecommunications Act 1997 to support the conduct of high-quality, innovative research projects into the social, economic, environmental or technological implications of telecommunications developments, in order to increase public knowledge and stimulate debate.
The 2007-08 funding round of the program has been finalised, with two research projects from that round currently being funded.
The Minister has decided not to make any Telecommunications Research Grants for the 2008-09 funding round.
