The Review of the provision of telecommunications equipment to consumers with disabilities consultancy report examined information and data on the current arrangements for providing this equipment. This included looking at

  • current consumer needs;
  • the effectiveness of current equipment arrangements in meeting those needs;
  • the likely demand for specialised equipment in the next five to ten years; and
  • the impact of emerging technologies on consumers with disabilities in the next five to ten years.
