Firstly, let me state that I am adamant that the ABC remain commercial-free and SBS should return to being commercial-free. I am happy to pay for this through my taxes.

I dislike the idea of pay-per-view broadband. Broadband users already pay for their usage via a plan with their ISP. Speaking personally, most downloaded content is not saved to permanent media, and remains quite ephemeral on the hard-disk. I agree with paying for hardcopy merchandise at a shop, but not for ABC/SBS-provided downloaded content, which I may end up losing anyway.

ABC Classic FM provides wonderful support for musical performances with their recorded and live broadcasts of concerts from around the country. I would like to see this extended to visual broadcasts on a digital TV channel.

I would like to see the removal of all broadcasted watermarks. If not, please make them less obtrusive.
