During the last Australian election, the announcer, male, on the SBS evening news was clearly showing vocal

and body language signs of bias towards John Howards cause. This will be quite simple to check as it was evident to me so many times that I had to give up SBS news at that time. it was dreadful. He hass left now thank heavens, though when I checked his file online he was last in... CNN... QED.

The other blatant device that drives me instantly to change channels is the harvey norman predatory commercial smack in the middle of the news.

You MUST know, as phala said to Kundun.

You MUST have had so many complaints!

I want a law enacted and acted upon that prevents the audio "load limit" of a commercial's sound track being skewed by equalisers to the high, and irritatingly penetrating, end of the human ear response spectrum. This practice is outrageous. The perpetrators and their technicians should be outed, and the practice banned. In fact the audio level and spectrum for ads should be forced to be attenuated by 30%.
