Project achievements
ConnectCare aimed to assist small and regionally-based aged care facilities to improve their level of care and efficiency through broadband technology. This was achieved by delivering enterprise grade aged care applications, infrastructure and communications to a number of pilot facilities in regional and remote Australia
The project was successfully completed and the benefits for the aged care facilities include:
- improved efficiency of care;
- enhanced quality of care;
- improved quality of life for residents; and
- a better working environment for facility staff
