Project achievements
The project enabled the implementation of electronic medical records for patients of all Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) operating sections in regional and remote Australia. Information on allergies, immunisations and diagnostic and pathology results, will be available to RFDS clinicians in real-time.
The Monet software application developed by iSOFT will allow RFDS operating sections to link by a Wide Area Network, enabling central storage, access and transfer of data.
