Project achievements
The KnowledgeBank: Next Generation project delivered new internet tools and online content within a secure education network for use by Victorian students. This network is controlled by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development and is accessible only to students, staff and other authorised users within Victoria.
Within this network, Victorian students are able to interact with each other using Web 2.0 interactive tools—such as blogs, wikis and podcasts. Additionally, the project is offering services to all Victorian schools, with an emphasis on improving service delivery in rural and remote schools.
