To ensure that we are developing effective digital economy policy and programs, the department engages in domestic and international forums.

The department uses a range of different digital economy tools as part of our public and industry engagement.
The department seeks to innovate: we use digital platforms in our work to maximise the benefits of the digital economy. As our Corporate Plan explains, we strive to:
...take the lead in the public sector and demonstrate the effective use of interactive Web 2.0 technology for improved communication and engagement, both internally and externally with citizens and stakeholders, about our policy and service development.
