Project overview and objectives
Ambulance Mobile Connect SA is rolling out high-speed mobile broadband to all ambulance vehicles in South Australia.
The project enables paramedics to access incident details including critical patient data in real-time. This allows paramedics to prepare better and respond quicker to incidents. Mobile broadband is improving inter-agency mobilisation and communication with operational centres, as well as increasing paramedic safety while operating in high-risk situations and in remote areas.
With the innovative use of mobile broadband, this project will save valuable time in emergencies, improving health outcomes for patients.
