Project overview and objectives
Ambulance Mobile Connect SA will roll out high-speed mobile broadband to ambulances across regional, rural and remote South Australia.
The project will enable paramedics to access details of an incident and critical patient data in real-time. This will allow paramedics to prepare better and respond quicker to incidents. Mobile broadband will also improve inter-agency mobilisation, communication with operational centres, as well as increase paramedic safety in remote areas and while operating in high-risk situations.
With the innovative use of mobile broadband, this project will save valuable time in emergencies, improving health outcomes for patients.
