Project overview and objectives
To provide the best care for its patients, the Ambulance Service of NSW is rolling out an Ambulance Electronic Medical Record system, upgrading its current network to support eLearning for paramedics, installing electronic drug safe monitoring systems, implementing an on-line staff rostering system, upgrading telehealth systems, and implementing remote station secure access systems.
The initiatives of this project is delivering improved access to quality health care to communities across the state and will lead to the retention and better training of essential medical emergency staff in those communities.
