Introduction of digital radio issues paper (2004) (Submissions closed)

The Australian Government is seeking comment on the issues associated with the development of a policy and regulatory framework for the introduction of digital radio in Australia.

During the recent election, the Government committed to undertaking a transparent and accountable process for developing a policy framework and implementation strategy for digital radio. As part of the consultation process, the Government has released the report of the Digital Radio Study Group and an issues paper which invites submissions from interested parties on specific issues associated with the introduction of digital radio.

Comment is invited on the matters covered in this paper, and any other issues relevant to the introduction of digital radio in Australia .

Submissions should be provided by Wednesday, 20 April 2005, in both electronic and hard copy, and should be addressed to:
