Submissions on measures to increase accountability and transparency for Refused Classification material

Public consultation on measures to improve accountability and transparency of processes for the placement of material on the RC content list closed on 12 February 2010. A consultation paper outlining a number of issues and options was provided for comment.

The Department will now work with other government agencies to consider closely these submissions and examine whether the matters raised can enhance the proposed accountability and transparency measures.
