Bangkok's two main airports, Suvarnabhumi International Airport and Don Muang Airport are currently closed due to political demonstrations. The duration of the closures is unknown. Australians stranded in Bangkok should first contact their airline for assistance with travel and accommodation.

Attacks in Mumbai India
On 26 and 27 November, terrorists attacked at least ten locations in Mumbai, including hotels, the train station and near the domestic airport terminal using automatic weapons and grenades. The Australian Government unreservedly condemns these appalling attacks on innocent people.
Australians are urged to reconsider their need to travel to India and avoid travel to Mumbai at this time. Australians in Mumbai should remain in a safe location, monitor the media for information about new safety and security risks and follow the advice of local authorities.

Australia's Composition of Trade 2007-08
Australia’s total value of trade in goods and services increased 10 per cent in financial year 2007-08 to $489 billion, according to a Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade publication Composition of Trade Australia 2007-08 released today. In volume terms, total trade rose 8 per cent.
