Fixed telephone services

One of the Departments roles is to give policy advice to the Minister on how fixed telephone services can be provided efficiently and fairly.

The Government has recently announced some changes to the Customer Service Guarantee, a consumer safeguard for fixed telephone services. The Department of Communications, Information Technology and the Arts has released a discussion paper for consultation on the changes.
