Expression of interest information kit
Please submit your expression of interest by providing a statement addressing your suitability for appointment as a non-executive director of either the ABC or SBS board. Please submit separate statements for each board if you wish to apply for both. Please limit your statement to three pages, or less. You will also need to submit your curriculum vitae which should be no more than three pages in length.
The information kit provides the documentation necessary for submitting an expression of interest—including a cover sheet for each board, private interests declaration and the criteria for appointment, which is included in the position description for each board.
Brief background information on the ABC and SBS boards and a copy of the guidelines for appointment, which summarise the relevant government policies and procedures in relation to the merit-based appointment process, are also available.

Conflict of interest
The Commonwealth Authorities and Companies Act 1997 requires that all directors of the ABC and SBS boards avoid placing themselves in a position of conflict of interest. All candidates must provide a signed copy of this form with their expressions of interest.
